1 John 4:17a says, ‘Love has been perfected among us in this, that we may have boldness in the Day of Judgment.’ 

Brethren, LOVE is our CONFIDENCE when we stand before God at the ‘judgment seat of Christ’ to give an account of our lives and service to the King.  In other words, a Christian’s love for God and for his/her Brothers and Sisters assures them of God’s love for them. 

This judgment of every Believer will focus on what every true child of god did during their time of earthly ministry.  What they did in their service for Christ.  Did they build on ‘this foundation (Christ) with gold, silver, precious stones, OR, wood, hay, straw – each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is.

If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a REWARD.  If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire (1Corinthians 3:12-15).  Lord, I pray, that all of our works done for you would result in a REWARD, and not in suffering loss.
